There has been a lot of discussion about links that are a ranking factor. Many SEO marketers have focused on Content and On-Page SEO as well as on neglected links by saying: "We already know everything about links".
But do they know everything about the links?
Links are important since Google has confirmed that links are the # 1 ranking factor, along with great content. Ranking without links is difficult and why would you try to rank without links in the first place? Google is interested in links more than anything else, so you should.

Before April 2012, one could easily buy his rating. Few of  buying bulk backlinks and some of these links, you could manage ranking on the first page of search engine results. Well, time has passed and these are no longer valid. Google Spam Penguin is now part of the basic Google algorithm and works in real time.

Are all backlinks the same?
The more, the better, doesn't match the links. At least the most means links you buy without checking if they are dangerous to your backlink profile or not. Better target for fewer high quality links and then thousands of links that do not add value to your backlink profile. Weak or dangerous links will not help your scores at all. Your site's rankings may worsen. These links can punish you with Google and a serious (if not 100%) loss of organic traffic.

How many login pages, subdomains, domains, and root domains?
